Notion of Flight is a project that explores flight as a concept or an action, drawing focus on movement and flow as the subject matter and consider ideas of dynamism, with keen observations of motion in varying speeds.

For this project, I express the idea of flight as an escape, basing my research on mental health, more specifically depression and suicidal tendencies. I start off focusing on observatory drawings, before moving onto more conceptual pieces with reference to my own experiences with mental illnesses. The final works are images dealing with subtle changes, an expression of how small differences can tell a completely different story. As part of my research, I collaborated with a dancer friend of mine to explore the fluidity in the human body and its flow of momentum and movement.
